First off… Howdy! I hope you’re doing great today. So far one of my picks for the NFL playoffs has won and the other is tied up at 3. The wife and I are going for different teams, so it’s been a fun evening relaxing on a rainy day here on the Gulf Coast. She fixed one of our favorite cold or incliment weather recipes..tortilla soup. Yummy!
In a post a couple days ago I mentioned that I would be putting my weight out on Monday mornings. Well, I’m changing that to Friday mornings. Weekends are my cheat day(s). So, that’s settled.
I had a pretty substantial dissapointment early this week. I had who I thought was a pretty good prospect for my Yoli business. We had talked on the phone several times for probably 3 hours all together. Well as of Sunday we were on, he was coming into my Yoli business on Monday. I seen his name in our marketing sites back office…I’ve emailed him with no response but have since found out he joined with someone else….What a bummer, to my knowledge I was the only person in Yoli that he was speaking with, but I’ll never know, and truthfully I don’t care. I am a great sponsor and he totally lost out…. I only hope the person he ended up joining with has a lot of patience lol, because he had a ton of questions!
What I’d like for you to come away with from this situation is this: These companies have the same marketing sites, the same products, unless the person that introduced you to the company is a total idiot, do the right thing and sign up with them. Unless the person that introduced you is a multi millionaire you are going to need to plug into the system and go upline to get support anyway. Remember, some day you will be the person looking to grow your group…and that’s all I’m going to say about it. You know what I’m getting at.
I’m going to hit the road for now. Enjoy your Saturday evening. It looks like the Ravens will lose, not that it matters to me, but Ray Lewis is one of my favorite players in the league, simply due to his intensity.
We were on our way home and cruising through Mobile, AL. I didn’t know my daughter took this video until today when I hooked the camera up to the computer. It cracked me up and thought I’d share it with you! Hope you enjoy it.
Today is Sunday January 10. How are your New Years resolutions coming? Well, hopefully you took it a little more seriously than just saying I want to quit smoking, or I want to lose weight…or whatever other pie in the sky things people say at this time of year.
My wish for you is that you took your dreams, and turned them into goals by putting a date on them. My wish is that you wrote them down in a place where you will see them often. My wish is that your dreams will be your reality… And the best thing of all is…..if my wish comes true, your dreams become your reality. That is a win-win isn’t it?
If you are looking for a way to increase your income this year I have something I’d love to show you. If you have a vehicle to get you where you are going, that’s fantastic and I’m happy for you! This offer is for people who think they can do better than they are doing right now in their life. If you keep saying to yourself “what I’m doing is for someone without the drive I have, its for someone without dreams, someone that’s willing to settle for mediocrity….and that’s not me!” Then we need to chat.
Like a lot of people, maybe even you…I’ve been on a roller coaster ride with my weight for the last 12 years or so. I got out of the US Marine Corps in June of ‘93, married in December of ‘94, and my wife had a pregnancy that ended with a beautiful child in October of ‘95. Up until the pregnancy of my wife my weight had been pretty much steady. Of course as a Marine my activity level was so high that I ate anything I wanted; I remember it used to drive my mom nuts. She’d tell me that some day it would catch up to me….it did.
While my wife was pregnant, I went from weighing 190 up to 220. At that point I said I’d had enough! I struggled for a couple years never really knowing what I was doing. Then in ‘98 I started learning the right way to lose weight, I started to eat right 6 days a week and had 1 cheat day. I exercised 6 days a week, 3 days of weight lifting and 3 days of cardio…for about an hour per day I’d say. I was working 8 hours per day, driving 2 hours and 40 minutes round trip to work. So I wasn’t totally stretched, but I had some time issues. I lost 35 pounds in 3 months! I felt awesome, and I looked good! Then I got hurt! Got lazy and put the weight back on.
Well, fast forward 10 years…..what are you thinking I weigh now? Hopefully you aren’t thinking it’s 300! At my highest point last month in December 09 I weighed in at 228. At that moment I about choked! I didn’t stress it too much, with it being December I just put off starting until January.
After Christmas I started watching what I was eating, cut out a couple soda pops and replaced them with Yoli Truth. I am down to 222 as of this morning.
I hadn’t thought much about working out this past two weeks; but today it hit me all at once…go workout! So I did. And I loved it. I remember working out and how it made me feel, and today was exactly the same. I felt like a million bucks while I was lifting! So, with it being the new year and time for change, I’ve decided to set a goal to get back down to my ideal weight of 190 pounds. I am putting it out there to you guys so I am accountable to you and the universe.
I will be posting my weight on Mondays.
Thank you for stopping by. And I look forward to sharing the good news with you.
I’ve been thinking today about this blog and what I’ve been posting on it. Not that it’s been a bad thing, but I have had so many thoughts that I’ve wanted to put on the blog but haven’t because they weren’t pertinent to Yoli. As I’ve been thinking though, the purpose of this blog is two fold.
1. Inform you about Yoli, our products and the business opportunity that is attached to this unique product.
2. Let you see who I am as a person. Am I the type of person you’d like to be teamed with in building your Yoli business.
So with that in mind, I’ve decided to start putting more personal blog posts in here. It will alleviate trying to keep a personal blog AND a Yoli blog.
I look forward to speaking with you soon. I am loving Yoli, and I think you will too.
I hope you’ve taken the time to set goals for 2010. I’ve been watching twitter the last couple days and the positive thoughts were abundant! The problem is most people will forget about all the optimism and fall back into the hum drum of everyday life. Don’t fall into this trap! Write down your goals, and review them daily. Reassess in March how your goals are coming along. You’ll be suprised I’d imagine, when something you thought you couldn’t do in a year has happened in 3 months time because you were focused on the outcome you desire.
It’s simple really. It’s easy to do. But the problem is it’s easy not to do.
If you’ve read the book The Slight Edge you’ll remember that philosphy. If you’ve not read the book, you should!
The Yoli Kor bottle became available for purchase at the beginning of the month. I just placed my order yesterday. It was a difficult decision for me to agree to pay that amount for a water bottle. I searched for “KOR water bottle” on the web and read about the company, and seen they actually have bottles that are more expensive then the bottles Yoli is offering. So I jumped! And now I’m psyched for it to get here! Just using the boring plastic bottles with the Blastcaps creates questions when people see you blast one. This new bottle should be worth several conversations, and let’s face it, one distributor will more than pay for this bottle….so it was a good business decision.
The question is…how long until my wife or children want their own? Not long I’m guessing
As I write this I’m getting ready for bed. Funny thing is, there’s no way I’ll be able to sleep…so let’s do this instead.
I had a great day today! First of all, I slept until 10! WOW, I haven’t slept that late for a looong time. I really like getting up early, so that was something different for me.
The wife and I showered and drove about an hour to get some things from Sams Club. We love going to Sams, maybe you know the feeling we really like the samples, or as we’ve called it for years “free love”. On the way we ate for the first time at Bimimi Bob’s. A nice little joint overlooking Mobile Bay on the Eastern Shore. While we were there I had a prospect call ME, set an appointment and called him back later. Very good news. Then had another gent from New Orleans email me, he’s ready to go, that’s very very good news. Then had another gent from Chicago call ME, he’s ready to go too! Holy crap! What a day! This could be your Yoli business growing right in front of YOUR eyes! People calling YOU to hear about the business.
Yoi is going to be huge! I want you to experience this amazing ride we’re on. Visit my site for full details.
I need to start by saying welcome back to myself! I have been so crazy with other things that my blogging has suffered. I have been writing on paper for the last little bit planning out 2010, setting goals and thinking about what I want to be, do and have. So I apologize to the blogosphere.
I was sitting on the couch this morning having a cup of coffee, listening to Christmas music AND looking at the tree (who says guys can’t multi-task) thinking about how fortunate I am in my life. My children are healthy and for the most part happy. My wife is a beautiful person, inside and out. My family has no real issues facing it.. Of course we’d like to have bigger, better or newer, but we don’t need it. We have everything we need. And for that I’m very blessed and thankful.
I just wanted to stop in and say hello. This blog is going to be one of my top priorities as 2010 rolls in. Have a Merry Christmas
